Return journey from Jungfrau to Grindelwald via Klein Scheidegg. On the return leg, there was a 15 minute gap between the Jungfrau - Klein Scheidegg / Klein Scheidegg to Grindelwald. I took this short opportunity to walk around the station before boarding the next train.

Background

During the return journey from the Jungfrau, we had to change trains to Grindelwald at Klein Scheidegg, an area where most people would do there skiing, while also acting as a resting point for tired travellers and hikers. There is also a clear view of Eiger and Monch from the station.

On the train to Grindelwald, there were clear views of Grindelwald down below, as well as the snow-covered peaks of Tschuggen, Lauberhorn and Mannlichen. A very unusual idyllic afternoon in the Jungfrau.
